| Meanwhile,
outside we've got more action going on. The plumbers
have dug a deep trench for the utilities. We asked Nick
from A+S Plumbing to dig the trench along the middle
of the arroyo where there are no plants growing and
he did a great job piling his dirt around (not on top
of) the sage growing along the ditch bank. Gas, electricity,
cable and phone will be run in the same trench, separated
by inches of dirt. |
| Later,
in the back yard, Murray Drilling came and dug a pit
for our 1700 gallon water storage tank. We are sharing
a well with a neighbor. Our storage tank will refill
occasionally when the water level reaches a certain
point, so the impact on their water pressure will be
minimized. We'll have our own pressure tank and meter
as well.
